About Florian Sczesny

Florian Sczesny is a German artist and songwriter who has been living and working in a perpetual state of ambivalence for over three decades.

Despite his inner conflict with the concept of global capitalism, he joined BMG Rights Management GmbH as a popular music composer and studied business economics. Furthermore, Sczesny became a teacher, secretly knowing he would never be able to work within the grip of an obsolete federal system (yet his wife thanks him for trying). Throughout all of this, his commitment to making and supporting art always remained unwavering.

He actively participates in bands like EMMA6, Lake Cisco, and whenever friends ask him to join a project, despite his social awkwardness and lack of concern for technical precision on his instrument. On top of that, he loves to structure things, enjoys accounting, engages with technology and the future, yearns for the outdoors, regularly joins social projects, and battles his OCD and modern addictions.

In short, the general underlying theme of Sczesny's life is a state of self-reflection and curiosity, a relentless drive to realize his own vision and stay independent, as well as a constant songwriting practice since the age of 15.

From this diverse background, he recently founded KULTUR & VERGNÜGEN, an innovation and event agency offering meaningful ideas, events, and workshops. He also initiated an anti-addiction movement and eagerly works on his own acoustic guitar-driven singer-songwriter music, refusing to conform to the vision of present or future Zuckerbergs, Bollorés, Mas, or Blavatniks.
